Privacy policy

Updated October 21, 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use HoolyMarket, why we need it, who we may share it with and how you can manage your data.

Summary

  • We collect only what is needed to run your account, trades, security and support.
  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • Your public profile shows your username, positions and results — do not post personal information in it.
  • You can get a copy of your data, correct it or ask us to delete it.

1.Introduction

HoolyMarket (the "Service", "we") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we process the personal data of users of the site, apps and related services.

We process data in accordance with applicable law, including Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data". By using the Service, you confirm that you have read this policy. If you do not agree with it, do not use the Service.

2.Scope

This policy applies to all data we receive through the Service. It does not apply to third-party sites and services, even if our pages link to them.

Personal data is any information that can directly or indirectly identify you. Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot identify you is not considered personal data.

3.What data we collect

We receive data from several sources:

  • from you — your email address, username, avatar, identity and age verification data, support requests, comments;
  • when you use the Service — trades, orders, positions, balance, transaction history, favorite markets and settings;
  • automatically — IP address, device and browser type, language, approximate location, and the time and pages of your visits;
  • from payment partners — transaction confirmations and information needed to verify their legitimacy.

4.Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you logged in, to save your settings — price format, theme, favorites — and to understand how the Service is performing.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features — for example, logging in — may not work properly.

5.How we use data

We use data to:

  • create and maintain your account, and process trades, deposits and withdrawals;
  • display your public profile, comments and Leaderboard ranking;
  • send notifications about trades, market resolutions and account security;
  • prevent fraud, market manipulation and other violations;
  • respond to support requests;
  • improve the Service and develop new features;
  • comply with legal requirements.

6.Legal basis

We process data when necessary to perform our agreement with you (the Terms of Use), to comply with legal obligations, to protect our legitimate interests — for example, the security of the Service — or with your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

7.Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We may share it only with:

  • contractors who help us operate — hosting, email delivery, analytics, support — to the extent necessary for their task and under confidentiality terms;
  • payment partners — to process transactions;
  • government authorities — when required by law;
  • a successor — in the event of a reorganization or sale of the Service, with the protections of this policy preserved.

Your username, avatar, positions, trades, comments and Leaderboard results are visible to other users — this is part of how the Service works.

8.Users under 18

The Service is intended for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18. If you learn that such a person has registered, contact us and we will delete the account and data.

10.Notifications and newsletters

Service messages — about trades, security and changes to the terms — are sent to all users. We send news and market roundups only if you have subscribed to them; you can unsubscribe via the link in the email or in your notification settings.

11.International data transfers

Data is stored on servers in Russia. If the Service needs to transfer it to other countries, we will do so only where permitted by law and with the necessary safeguards in place.

12.Referral program and rewards

If you take part in the referral program or receive rewards, we process data about invited users and their activity to the extent needed to credit rewards. Participation is voluntary, and you can opt out at any time.

13.Data security and storage

We apply organizational and technical safeguards: encrypted connections, restricted employee access, logging and regular system audits.

No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, so keep your login credentials confidential and report any suspicious activity to us.

14.Your rights

You can:

  • find out what data of yours we process and get a copy of it;
  • correct inaccurate or outdated data;
  • ask us to delete data if we are no longer required by law to keep it;
  • restrict or object to processing;
  • withdraw your consent to processing and unsubscribe from newsletters.

To exercise your rights, email privacy@hoolymarket.com. We will respond within the time required by law and may ask you to verify your identity.

15.Data retention

We keep data while you have an account and, after it is closed, for as long as required by law — for example, for transaction records — or as needed to resolve disputes. After that, the data is deleted or anonymized.

16.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date of the last change is shown at the top of this document. We will notify you of material changes on the site or by email.

17.Contact

Send questions about personal data to privacy@hoolymarket.com, and all other questions to support@hoolymarket.com.
